✓ Zero Data Collection

Short version: Sento runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. No servers are contacted. Your text and voices never leave your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Sento does not collect any personal data, usage statistics, analytics, or telemetry of any kind.

How your data is handled

All text-to-speech processing happens locally on your device using a bundled AI model (VoxCPM2). Specifically:

Text you type is processed on-device and never uploaded anywhere
Voice reference audio you import stays on your device
Generated speech audio is saved locally to your device only
Voice library entries are stored locally and never synced to any server
The app does not require an internet connection to function

Voice cloning & voice design

When you clone a voice from reference audio or design a voice from a text description, all AI inference runs locally on Apple Silicon (Neural Engine / GPU). No audio or text is sent to any external service. The resulting voices are stored only on your device.

Third-party services

None. Sento does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or third-party services that could access your data.

Microphone permission

The app may request microphone access to let you record voice references directly within the app. This audio is processed locally and is never transmitted.

Data storage

Files you create (generated audio, voice library entries) are stored in your device's local storage only. You can delete them at any time from within the app.

Children's privacy

This app does not collect data from any users, including children under 13. It is rated 4+ on the App Store.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
